By far the worst experience of my life. I came to them with a proven 5 year long illness that I have lab tests for and a cat scan they performed there showing signs of possible kidney infection and their ID specialist was completely incompetent. He literally said to me "I'm not familiar with your type of infection" yet he had final say. They discharged me a day later without addressing the real problem. Scheduled at Interventional Radiology for an Epidural at 9am. Fasted for 24 hours to prepare. It is now 11:30 and I was just told “maybe an hour or more until we take you in”! Mind you, I have to listen to the staff cajole and happily declare “I’m leaving for lunch”! Patient care and attentiveness is NOT a priority here, if you can go somewhere else! This is one of our City’s Hospitals. I was born in this hospital and have had to come back to have surgery at this hospital. They have taken care of me and I have nothing but good things to say about them. Today I met with a nutritionist to discuss nutritional options I should be doing. The hospital is an important part of our local economy and job provider.
