I am sorry to hear of the many who had horrible experiences with the Yale doctors, you are all in my prayers—I did as well, especially Dr. Shah as when the staples were being removed after they removed 3 brain tumors, Dr. Alok asked me if I was in pain & I responded in saying that the staples, stitches on top of my head hurt, but not nearly as horrifically as those around my ear (where 2 of the three brain tumors were removed). I have such mixed reviews about Yale neurology as a whole. I was flagged as an urgent/high risk patient and was unable to get my prescription for Nurtec this month even though I’ve been on it since January. I had to go through 3 different nurses/pharmacists because apparently I don’t know how to use it. I have to be monitored or I can’t fill it. I asked 3 nurses why I had to be monitored all of the sudden and got 3 different answers. I’m switching out of Yale to avoid all this unnecessary stress and communication issues.
They lied about my entire life and lost me all my disability, and just horrible all around… Had to save my own life by telling them to prescribe me nayzilam. And epidiolex. Overall, the worst healthcare I have ever seen in my entire life anyone with neurology please Go somewhere else…..
Excellent response and we felt that the doctors were especially caring as well as prepared for our first visit. They took about an hour-well after the office had closed- to address the medical situation and give us a plan going forward.
