I have such mixed reviews about Yale neurology as a whole. I was flagged as an urgent/high risk patient and was unable to get my prescription for Nurtec this month even though I’ve been on it since January. I had to go through 3 different nurses/pharmacists because apparently I don’t know how to use it. I have to be monitored or I can’t fill it. I asked 3 nurses why I had to be monitored all of the sudden and got 3 different answers. I’m switching out of Yale to avoid all this unnecessary stress and communication issues.
They lied about my entire life and lost me all my disability, and just horrible all around… Had to save my own life by telling them to prescribe me nayzilam. And epidiolex. Overall, the worst healthcare I have ever seen in my entire life anyone with neurology please Go somewhere else…..
Excellent response and we felt that the doctors were especially caring as well as prepared for our first visit. They took about an hour-well after the office had closed- to address the medical situation and give us a plan going forward.
I saw Dr. Evan Jameyfield for the very first time today. I am over the moon with my experience. I do not make reviews often, but I have also been fighting with doctors for a very long time to STOP blaming everything I experience on anxiety. Dr. Jameyfield was heavily interested EVERYTHING I explained to him from 15 years ago to now. He was thorough in his examination, very well spoken, great bedside manner and knowledgeable with the ability to explain everything in depth making sure I completely understood what he was saying... read more
I was treated very disrespectfully by a doctor so asked if I could be moved to a new doctor. I was told despite having many similar doctors at Yale that I would need to find a new doctor outside the Yale system. When I asked to get that in writing I was told they would need to ask their director if that could be possible. I was also not given a referral, just that I would need to find a new place to receive medical care.
