What a beautiful place! The staff were very helpful and the trails were nicely marked! The bathrooms wrrr nice and clean too!
Nothing but good things to say about the Yakima Area Aboretum. I attended the Luminaria event yesterday and the candle lit walk through the Christmas lights was great. Tons of people but still a great event!
Fall is such a beautiful time. Insuring that we enjoy it helps by going on a planned walk. It was wonderful!
Terrific venue for autumn leaf viewing. A little past prime by now, but still awesome. Take a walk in the arboretum.

The Yakima Area Arboretum is a field of gold to our valley. What a great team that makes it all happen! Yakima is a better community because of all the value the Yakima Area Arboretum offers all year long!
Finished our 4th class with Doug Rice, landscape design professional and WOW!!! Dragged my husband in to get ideas to tame our 2.25 acres of old, overgrown landscape. He was blown away by Doug's "psychology of landscape" and the basic philosophies that made so much sense! As Doug said: if you have a plan, it will happen. So, we are now making a plan and feel confident to tackle a bit at a time! Thank you to the Yakima Arboretum and Jheri for the amazing programs you bring to us!
