Stay here at your own risk. I arrived and parked my ute up that had items in the back securely tied off and covered with a tarp. Had a quick shower and walked down the road to get a feed and 1 hour later returned to my room only to see that my tarp ropes had been cut and my belongings rummaged through. I found out that some of the rooms are long term social housing for take a guess who. Had a really comfortable stay at Y Motel in Rockhampton. The room was clean and well-kept, and the atmosphere was welcoming. The staff are easily the friendliest I’ve met — so helpful and genuinely caring, which made the stay even better. Would definitely recommend to anyone passing through or staying in Rockhampton. 16/09/2025
Its a small motel, good for one night. We where staying over night for the capricon convention. The place was ok and we stayed for a night. The shower was really strong and I've never felt cleaner after getting my soul blasted away by it.
Terrible service, took our money and isn’t willing to move the day however this isn’t stated anywhere on the website or booking.com in their policies. Reception worker was very rude and not helpful / accomodating for the situation. Would not recommend this motel, there are many others open 24/7 that you could use if you’re passing through.
The motel itself was good and close to shops etc. Being on a intersection that is used like a drag strip is a downside.
