We had just a one hour tour but we learnt so much from Daryl about the First Nation community and how they have lived and evolved over the last 2,500 years. I highly recommend the tour with Xwísten Experience Tours to fully understand the history of the area and the people who have lived in this land for so long. What a remarkable experience. Joshua was an incredible guide. His pride in his culture and knowledge about their fishing practices and archeology may the tour come alive. Visiting the expansive archaeological village site, where they've identified almost 100 pit houses (the traditional winter homes of the St’át’imc people) was an absolute highlight for me. Darrel is a great tour guide. Very experienced and knowledgeable. Total time was about five hours (including the wait for the bridge). Would have given five stars but our salmon was overcooked… :( Otherwise it was great!
