I have used Rod (xtreme) for a few projects in the past and would have given a 4-star rating. However, now that he has sold this company and is only a "salesperson" now, the professionalism has gone downhill. Not only did they not honor our contract, but when "the owner" left a check for me to supposedly return my deposit (2 months later after hounding them constantly), they deducted over $1800 for 2 hours' worth of "demo". Not impressed with the new ownership or the way Rod conducted himself during this process. SHADY
We recently had Xtreme Backyards update our outdoor courtyard (new turf, mounding, boulders, plants, crushed rock, pavers, irrigation and lighting). Rod listened to what we wanted, appreciated what was important to us, and was creative with the final design. His crew was prompt, courteous, and left the area tidy after each work day. We could not be happier with our new courtyard and would recommend Xtreme Backyards for any outdoor project!
I asked Rod for a quote for some landscaping/backyard work and he was quick to provide awesome ideas and recommendations I hadn't even considered, and an estimate that was within my budget. His company installed a beautiful, large awning across our back patio and replaced loose rock with a patio paver extension tied into an existing area of pavers. I called Xtreme Backyards with a very unusual request and was floored with their response. Not only did I get the help I needed; I found myself in a Very pleasant conversation with the owner who knows the old fashioned meaning of customer service... We had Rod and his team complete all our new build landscaping. We couldn’t be happier with the results of the entire property. From lighting, trees and plants meeting all requirements for our HOA to the outdoor kitchen and the impromptu fire pit that we requested last minute.
