I bought a pair of sights for my glock 43x. I watched the video that XS sent me via email on how to instalI. I also watched several other videos on YouTube of folks installing the exact same sights on the exact same model of pistol. The front wasn’t an issue. When I tried to slide the rear sight into the 43x slide the rear sight would not even start to go in. I checked the set screws to make sure they weren’t an issue. I have Truglo sights on all of my other pistols. But wanted to give XS a try on my Taurus G2C, ( XS Rd3) They seem like good quality sites! My only problem is, the rear sight fits VERY loose, normally I have to use a sight Pusher and really try to push the sights in place. I could take this rear sight and put it on and push it right through with my finger. It's loose side to side and front to back. So I lined it as good as I could and use some red loctite. Let's hope that holds it in place!
Excellent installation kit. I have installed the top ten iron sight manufacturers and XS had the best kit with a quality tube of lockset compound, and oil to apply to the steel sights to prevent corrosion. The QR code instructions were thorough. I wanted a front tritium dot and black rear sight to mitigate optic interference. These ride at the correct height to flawlessly integrate with my SCS. Great products and exceptional customer service when addressing an issue.
I bought a sights for my Walther PDP Pro SD, and the gunsmith who installed them damaged the rear sight because he doesn’t follow the instructions. I contacted XS Sights via email, and Matt Stinson assisted me courteously. I went directly to the factory, where he replaced the damaged sight with a new one and installed it at no extra cost.
