Terrible experience
Very disappointing experience during my real estate closing. I was never told that an articling student would handle my file, and there was no proper introduction or supervision. Key errors—like wrong mortgage dates and postal codes—were missed, meetings were canceled without notice, and communication was often confusing. I was pressured to send ID via unsecured email, and official files were shared inconsistently between WeChat and email. The process was stressful and disorganized. I would not recommend this office.
Terrible Experience – Overcharged and Inept My experience with Jian Kang at XS Law was nothing short of frustrating. Not only did he overcharge me significantly, but his handling of my case was completely incompetent. His lack of professionalism and legal expertise left me with no choice but to file a complaint with the Law Society. If you are looking for a lawyer who will actually advocate for you and handle your case properly, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. Avoid at all costs.
