Wish I could remember the name of my massage therapist but truly, they changed my LIFE. Found all the issues I was having, explained what’s actually causing pain, and put her arms in a position my arms are constantly in (without me telling her that I hold heavy cameras up high for hours at a time). I love getting a massage while traveling because the therapists here always can give me the pressure I need as an athlete. Deidra is amazing at what she does, and also just such a kind person. I really enjoyed my time and I hope to have her as my therapist next time I’m passing through the SLC airport.
Not the best experience. After 5 hr flight in, and missed connection, my upper back was tense and painful. I asked them to just release my upper back and the person starting pulling and yanking at my arm, constantly pressing my ulnar nerve. I complained about this couple of times and she mentioned that this is normal (it is not). Massage has no business pressing nerves. I was contemplating going to the ER after, how painful my arm was. Have you ever seen the movie pretty woman? The scene where she walks in the dress store to spend some money and they tell her she won’t find anything here. Well that’s how I felt walking up to the counter at 2 hours before my flight. Was told they needed to let me know they had other people coming and would be able to help me for over an hour.
