Avoid Xpress. The telephone salesman was at multiple points either deliberately omitting certain costs, and at one point just plain lied. The loaders were friendly enough, but one of their acts was so unprofessional to be worth mentioning. I will also explain a problem with their general policy. The net result of a combination of deception, misunderstanding, and a terrible policy is that the price they quoted me ($790) on the phone ballooned to $1307 on the actual day of the move. I highly recommend NOT going with this company. Read up on moving scams before using any mover. We chose them to move from Brooklyn to Atlanta because they had the lowest estimate. It turned out that they had the lowest estimate because they weren't going to honor it - and charged us double. The worst part was how nerve racking they made the experience. We moved from NY to NH with these guys, and were very happy. We got a good quote, we had a lot of things, large flat screens, a dirt bike, all sorts of odds and ends, and we were a little worried they would be mishandled, we were wrong. They work fast, and with care, they didn't play any games with the prices, and no shady requests. In any case, if you need a mover, xpress moving van lines should be the first choice.

Xpress moving van lines moved us from Queens, NY to Richmond, VA. We were very happy with the packing and moving service, which was carried out. My mom is staying with me and she is 80. They made it so easy with no stress. We would certainly recommend this company to anyone who is moving. The staffs were polite and honest. A very difficult move was made so much easier by xpress moving van lines. The staff both in the office and the crew for moving was so courteous and helpful. We were explained everything by their rep at survey and the quotation were very clear. At the moving day nothing was too much trouble. I used Xpress moving van lines for the second time. The both purpose was different. This time I hired them for official purpose. They were outstanding in the first time service. So, I planned to call them again. The guys have been quick and honest. I couldn’t make my move successful without their assistance. Their crew worked at unbelievable speed. I had no complaint at all. They handled my belongings with utmost dedication and they used as many tools and materials needed to make the move safe. They are always recommended.
