these folks know diesels hands down... service and sales reputable caring guys. three mechanics plus 20 some used trucks for sale invaluable place for small business to shop for trucks and have service done at reasonable rates..
We bought a 06 6.0 f350 from here with 96k miles. About 4k miles later noticed that it was losing antifreeze. Blew the radiator and overflow apart i replaced both outa pocket. Took the truck back to xlr8 and they said it had blown head gaskets. So they charged us 5 grand to do head gaskets. Head studs egr delete. Got truck back and the trailer fault code comes on every time you hit a bump. Even without a trailer on the truck. Around 8k miles later starts loosing antifreeze again. I spoke to a salesman about a truck and he described the truck as being in excellent condition. I drove over three hours to see the truck, based on his narrative. When I arrived I found the truck had serious rust issues. It was obvious that somebody had used a spray can and tried to cover it but the rust pieces were literally falling off in the parking lot. My hubby and I just bought our first diesel from these guys and let me tell you...they were awesome. Steve took his time and really helped us decide which truck was right for our needs and really worked with our budget. They made us feel super comfortable. I would def recommend them to anyone wanting a diesel. Wanted to add something else. I read the other 2 reviews, but I wanted to give these guys a chance. They couldn't be more wrong. In response to the ridiculous accusation made by the previous reviewer, I would just like to say that statement is completely FALSE. XLR8 Diesel Trucks has NEVER conducted business as a "chop shop". Not now or ever. XLR8 Diesel Trucks has sold about 100 trucks every year for the past 3 years with no complaints or ridiculous accusations. All titles have always been free and clear with vehicle history reports completed on every truck.
