Dr. Lu was one of the most rude, dismissive, and unprofessional doctors I have ever encountered. My family attended an appointment with my stepfather, who suffers from dementia, hoping to better understand his condition, medications, treatment options, and whether there were any additional resources or clinical trials available. I've had symptoms of neuropathy in my feet, legs, fingers and hands for quite awhile and he's performed several tests and still has no explanations of why I have the neuropathy. It's progressed to me having extreme problems with walking and keeping my balance. I now need a walker.I still have no diagnosis. I am extremely concerned about the level of care I have received from Dr. Lu. In my experience, he does not adequately listen to his patients, and his bedside manner has been very disappointing. Despite ongoing symptoms and diagnostic testing that suggest a more complex situation, he has remained fixed on a diagnosis of neuropathy without meaningful consideration of alternative explanations. Absolutely terrible doctor. Will not budge from a diagnosis of migraines even though testing and imaging show differently, and migraine medication does not help.
I had a great talk with my Doctor about some things that was important to me.
