It’s sad that his nurse, Dorismar Peterson RN is working at his side because he’s an amazing surgeon. If it weren’t for her, I wouldn’t have a single complaint with him or any other staff I encountered pre and post op. Now after having two surgeries with him, Doris has lied, been unwilling to help, and done things out of spite. After having to call advocacy both times over her, I’m grateful I’ll never have to get another surgery and deal with her again. Endometriosis patients deserve better than her.
DO NOT go to Dr. Guan for any kind of medical treatment. I agree with the other patient, that he should NOT be allowed to practice at Texas Children's Hospital or any hospital for that matter. I will continue to dissuade other women from going to see him. He operated on my daughter and completely ruined her reproductive system!! My daughter had ovarian cysts that he was going to remove, and instead Dr. Guan "accidentally" cut off one of her fallopian tubes, was left on her pelvic floor, which became necrotic and gangrened AN... read more
He literally saved my life 8 months when i went in for a hysterectomy everything was all over the place my ovaries were glued to my uterus my uterus to my bladder and I had endometriosis all the way up to my diaphragm and down to my pelvis it was insane how much I had and he managed to get everything out as much as he could and he was able to save my ovaries, fallopian tubes were pretty damaged so that had to go surgery was almost 4 hours long and I left the hospital the next day the nurses that took care of me overnight wer... read more
Dr Guan is a life-saver! He and his team did the surgery for me with great skills and patience. My endometriosis & adenomyosis pain is gone, and this is one of the best things happen to me.
Dr. Guan is an amazing Doctor with very good bedside manner!! He is in it for his patients!! I am so thankful I found him! The only downfall is that the only Colo Rectal surgeon here works with is the worst! They could not be more different!
