It is out of this world good. Get the cabbage pancakes (okonomiyaki) and the orange chicken with rice. Would have posted a picture but it’s gone!

Xiao Bao Biscuit is a very unique restaurant that blends Asian inspired comfort food with classic Southern cuisine. I decided to carry on the pork theme through dinner and got the Jiao Zi, the Lamb Stir-Fry, and the VietRibs. The Jiao Zi was Chao Shou style pork wontons in spicy chili sauce and not a favorite at the table. The wontons were rubbery, the spicy chili sauce was flat, and the pork was barely noticeable. Tonight is my last night in Charleston, and I had dinner at @xiaobaobiscuit! It is in an old gas station and has a pretty cool feel. Drink: Sichuan Sting Sichuan peppercorn infused gin, lemon ginger beer, orange bitters. App: Bao Chinatown bbq, Marvin's mustard, and salt pickles. Entree: Stirfry Pad Kra Thai beef and basil stir fry with chili garlic and local veg - comes with fried sunny up egg. I also got rice with it. Best food I've had since visiting Charleston. We had 1 of almost everything on the menu and it all exceeded expectations. Staff was friendly and quick.
