We have used the Alpha floor system on multiple projects now. It is a great cost effective way for our clients to have the concrete feel and acoustic benefits at a fraction of the price of a traditional concrete suspended slab. The product itself we have found has gone through continuous improvements coming out in smaller size and reduced weight making it easier for installation. Alpha floor is a horrendous product. It is terrible to work with. The tongue and groove needs way to much cleanup to slot together as the product comes to you cracked, chipped, bent and missing. It requires too much effort to push them together to try and minimise gaps. The panels are not square and requires way to much sealant/silicon/caulking to attempt to fill all the gaps.
