I got a week long membership here because my school gym was closed. Got totally hooked, the general energy in main gym is great and even when it’s packed it doesn’t feel overwhelming because there’s plenty of space and equipment for everyone. The locker rooms also have great privacy to both change and shower which is a huge bonus if you’re new to the gym. Also they have a dry sauna which has been great post workout. Great gym! Has most all of the equipment and amenities you'd want in a gym.
I have been to many gyms around the country but very few compare to Xcel. Amazing customer service and staff, awesome amenities including the 24/7 access, sauna in the locker rooms, a self service fresh market store, and even a super friendly and professional, sports massage therapist on site. I’ve been working out for over a decade and I would recommend Xcel to any experienced or inexperienced individual looking for a gym in Bend, OR.
