They took 3 times to install a “smart meter” which was installed incorrectly and wasn’t sending my electricity usage to HQ for over 6 months(I’ve been on auto pay so k didn’t catch it either. I don’t use much power just one person in my house) they didn’t catch the error that I wasn’t getting charged for electricity then sent me a $600 invoice for back payments and their only option was to split the payments up and that I was still responsible because their system had my usage but wasn’t being invoiced. Can't ever get a hold of anyone!
I recently bought a new house and I’ve lost power more times in the past year at this location than I have in the past 15 years at my previous one. Xcel needs to step it up.
Use almost no electricity because I am always at work and yet my bill is now 3 times what others pay for Cass County Electric and who use more electricity than I do! This is a complete scam and these people should be investigated for fraud.
