Xcel energy is pure garbage. Customer service can’t find the correct address to transfer services. It’s literally not even a new construction. Then they add an incorrect address to transfer my service. Ridiculous energy costs with multiple monthly fees for no reason. There needs to be more regulation for a company that has a monopoly around this area. Their customer service is always unreachable.
Is there another energy company to use? Shitty customer service. Called to remove some properties and it’s still on my bill! They sent the bill to collection. Please do because I’ve called and told you we sold the house over a year ago, I made sure I called after we closed! I’m not paying for someone else’s electric. I’ve called and cancelled and I have record of that - so send that bill to collection, cause I’m not paying that!!!

I think when they meter work they messed up and now I have to pay for gas usage I’m 100 sure I didn’t use!!!
They messed up my final bill and tried to charge me more than I owe. I called about it and they told me they would fix it. Week later they submitted a claim to a collection agency over a bill they are trying to scam me on and told me there’s no way to contact their billing department. Do not use their service, they are the worst.
