We watched an Xcel guy knock our active Osprey nest to the ground on May 8th 2019. They had been here since we moved in 3 years ago, and were attacking the guy as he knocked it to the ground! I called the DNR and Xcel was not permitted to do this, and never should have had to do this. There are other alternatives to displacing a mated Osprey pair about to lay eggs. And it was right in front of our new elementary school being built where the kids would have loved to watch them every year! Very disappointed!
