These jerks keep raising the damn rates now they say they are going to cut off the electricity if the wind is high. When is the damn wind not high here? All this tells me is that their equipment is sub par. They are just another greedy corporation that is only out for more money.

I bought a new house and they keep sending the bills to the previous owner and I can’t get them to pay the bills. They keep saying that they will send me one but they haven’t and now the previous owners have called me to complain

Xcel needs to hire enough people to answer the phone in a timely manner. I was waiting for an hour for someone to answer the phone only to get cut off and forced to restart the dreadful process of actually talking to someone. Now it has been 2 hours! They wanted to talk to me about a delinquent bill. I'm staring at the receipt that shows it has been paid but they won't answer the phone to clear this up.

I've had excel for years and have always been happy with them. So to my surprise customer service is awful they are rude and don't care at all about there customers. How dare you over charge customers then say we used more electricity we weren't even home that much and got charged triple the amount of months when we were home.

I always get good customer service reps and they have extended my account so many times and worked with me. So I greatly appreciate that.
