This was one of the worst mechanic experiences I’ve ever had. I brought my car in for a regular service (oil and filter change) and also to replace a tire. Normally, I pay $70 for a tire replacement, but the mechanic called me and said he replaced it for $90—without asking for my approval first. When I arrived to pick up the car, I was shocked to see that the tire was used and in very poor condition.
