Her nick name should be the ice queen. Please be highly advise chosen this provider to take care of your loved one. She’s rude, dismissive and has no bed side manners. I am going to report her to the board. My mother was in acute kidney failure and she basically told me to stop bringing my mother to the hospital. She even told me on the phone that my mother is dying anyway and there is nothing you can do. Be careful of her. Not nice at all. Less than star is what she deserve.

We were not at happy with Dr. Santiago’s care of a family member who was admitted to the hospital. We asked direct questions that she refused to answer, or found ways not to answer. She would claim to make rounds in the morning, but rarely showed up until mid to late afternoon. When we asked about an urology issue, she simply said “we are only here to address the reason that he was admitted to the hospital”. With no other advice or concern for other issues.
