I’ve had very good experiences with Xact Pool when my home warranty, Fidelity, sent them for pool pump repairs. Various things have happened but Zack has fixed it each time. When he hasn’t had the part it’s come in pretty quickly and he’s alway timely getting back for the repair. Home warranty has covered everything except once for a waterfall repair (which is excluded from our contract). Xact still repaired it for a reasonable price.
Long story short is my Pool Pump went out and I couldn't clean my pool. I was going to be out of town for a while, I decided to drain my pool so it wouldn't get swampy, plus id like to remodel it. My warranty company sent out Xact pool and spa to review why my pool pump stopped turning on. The tech that came out only tested the clock panel area for 3 minutes and diagnosed that the clock motor was bad. A full month went by without any contact. Xact Pool & Spa and specifically John the owner is running a complete racket through American Home Shield. I have twice need repairs to my pool equipment and twice John has denied the claim for some bogus reason. He simply shows up denies the claim and collects his $100 fee then says he will do the work but that its not covered. Twice I have asked for a second opinion and twice the second pool repair contractor has fixed my problem under my AHS warranty. Stay away from Xact Pool & Spa they are a fraud and scam!!!!
seems like all the negative reviews are from people that have American Home Shield home warranties. I have the same thing and AHS is a nightmare. My U-Line fridge went out a year ago and there are literally 50 communications before they agreed it was not repairable and they had to give me a cash out option . The refrigerator is $3000. Very impressed with John and Zach. I put my request for repair into AHS Warranty last night and they were calling to set up an appointment this morning. Zach had it all under control in less than 20 minutes and answered all of my other pool questions. Great job! Much appreciated!
