This was my first time to taste mexican food and be in a mexican restaurant. It was classy and cozy, it never fails my first time and my expectations! The salsa! The SALSA IS TO DIE FOR! Definitely go back here with Family and Friends.
I keep trying but not anymore. The food is just okay, the service is not okay. Over priced. Not sure what I could recommend if anything. Their guacamole is good, and a fair price.
I was driving around looking for a place to have lunch when I saw X-Tapa Joe's Mexican food. It is off the beaten path on Pinnacle Peak road between Scottsdale Road and Miller. My first impression was that the restaurant was very clean and I was immediately greeted by a very friendly waitress. Chips and Salsa were provided, the chips still warm. This has just recently re-opened by the original owners and my wife and I are so thankful that it is back! We love their Cadillac Margarittas as well as their Fajita Chimichangas. This establishment has plenty of seating inside and out and a fun bar area as well.
