You would think, after all these years of doing person detection (and paying for a cam plus subscription to help the company stay alive!) that my OG camera would be able to tell the difference between a tree waving in the wind and a person. Companies that cry small guy or say why they’re better or more advanced, all come down to the same false alarms!
Wow. I got in here to write a bad review on Wyze and discovered that they've had way more bad reviews than good ones. And their overall score is 2.4. 2.4! They have joined the bandwagon of making you jump through a few hoops before you can make a return or get a refund. They want proof of purchase, when all they need to do is look up my purchase in their own flipping records! And all this after I already hung four of their cameras on my house! I won't make that mistake again.
I rarely write reviews like this, but after years of frustration—and a breaking point that should never happen—I feel obligated to warn others. We were customers of Wyze for several years, using their alarm service without major issues at first. A couple of years ago, we added their video doorbells, expecting the same reliability. They are getting better .. Sorry I LIED much worse, this company needs to be shut down they are incompetant. WOST CAMERA SYSTEM EVER/. COMPLETELY WORTHLESS
