7 1/2 mounths and still no engine it looks like they are trading insolvent and i have lost my engine as they are no longer answering calls so lawyers i would say to anyone avoid this business from now on. Looking up the buiness trading under GC Engine Reconditioning they are permanently closed.
What started out as a good referral quickly turned to the worst shop experience i’ve had… Started out with an approx quote of 8-10k for a motor recondition. Once inspected I then received a quote of over 3k more (also missing a few main parts in the quote). Justification was “parts prices have increased”, keep in mind this whole quote to inspection was within a month period. No extras were needed to justify for this price either. Thank you Pat and the crew at Wynnum Engines replacing my Ranger Engine It was such a stressful time from the day of engine failure. I rang Pat at Wynnum Engines and he took the stress out straight away. Nothing was a problem, so easy to deal with. Pat kept me informed on the progress, picked my Ute up and had the smallest oil leak, I rang Pat and he fixed the problem straight away. I highly recommend the crew at Wynnum Engines they have done a fantastic job. Thank you Marty
