An impromptu visit to South Carolina and we stayed at Kiawah Island. Pleasantly surprised with the lush landscaping and the mix of tropical, swamp (not sure of the right word), and beach lifestyles. Lots of physical activities to do on the beach, in the water, and on the paved paths throughout. We'll come back!
Love Kiawah Island! It’s a private island community, not crowded like other beaches/tourist locations. Much wildlife and nature! Enjoyed bike rides, walks, and going to the beach. Grocery is close for anything needed!
We rented 4117 Night Heron and the property had problems with spiders, bug spray smells, and the heat not working properly in the master bedroom. My wife went to her doctor after the stay to confirm that these were spider bites on her arm. We reported these issues as well as other issues with this property to Wyndham upon leaving, and Wyndham did not do anything about it. They didn't seem to care.
