This place COULD be great. HOWEVER, they need to do some maintenance and for the love of God clean the kitchen. Any and all dishes looked dirty in the cabinets before they were used. Found myself using paper plates, plastic cups and plastic wear. I don't like to do that but wow. I've stayed in a few places all over the country like this and this one was not good partially. It is a beautiful property!! we have rented it several time for family vacations. My favorite thing, being able to star gaze in the upper deck and seeing the sun disappear behind the lake during the sunset. It's so relaxing, and definitely my way to camp ;) and by camp I mean, running water, cozy home and bath tube! The property is really well maintain and it easily accommodated my large loud family! Can't wait for next year to come back again!!
What a beautiful place!! I stayed there for a family gathering, and it far exceeded any expectations. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The land is gorgeous, and it really feels like a home away from home. The house is pretty big, but if there's too many people for the house, there's also cabins across the street for overflow. I highly recommend this place whether you're seeking a place for a quiet vacation in the woods or a large family gathering.
I attended a family reunion held at Wyld Haven and greatly enjoyed my time. The beautiful scenery and peaceful atmosphere made the whole event so amazing. The staff is attentive and the grounds are very well taken care of. The drive to local restaurants is very short, and there is a grocery store close for any last minute needs. Wyld Haven is a wonderful place to spend a weekend, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful, peaceful place to spend some time!
Such a beautiful property! We have hosted family reunions in the main house and have never been disappointed by the amenities. Plenty of room to sleep a lot of people in comfort. Definitely a wonderful place to make memories with family and friends!
