If I could rate them ZERO, I would-specifically the supervisor, Anna. I am a single mother and veteran who works in utility assistance for a non-profit servicing low income families. I am a low income household myself. I was awarded a hardship payment to be paid to Wyandotte Municipal by the Veteran Services Grant from the National Guard Association of Michigan-approval August 7th. Rude staff members who answer the phone. Change dumb fees. A deposit for electricity? Seriously? They aren’t able to remotely turn your electricity back on, but they can turn it off remotely no issues and you’ll have to wait all day for them to come turn it back on if you are ever shut off for non-payment.

UPDATE: There was an issue and Paula from Wyandotte Municipal Services was so helpful, kind, and understanding. I was incredibly anxious due to the issue and she took care of everything getting us on the schedule. All of us here in Wyandotte are fortunate to have Paula working at WMS. We have had positive experiences over the years with their public services. It just came time to upgrade our internet service to fiber from cable and it was super easy to schedule it. Terrible customer service, they shut my internet off without my say so and then when I called to turn it back on was informed they couldn’t come out for another 4-5 days. Absolutely ridiculous, if you’ve caused an issue as a business your first priority should be to fix said issue you, YOU caused.
