I went there because I was told by my pcp. That there urology department is a good For TRT therapy Or treatment. . Absolutely not true.. These Doctors have no idea what they’re talking about when it comes to TRT. Like the saying goes if you have a head injury, you don’t go to a foot doctor to get your head Examined. For all the studies that I have read up on and friends that are going to TRT doctors these guys have absolutely no clue. Dr. Means is and always has been a fantastic doctor. However, the practice of wvu medical has ruined the experience of a family practice and turned it into a corporate business. You have become a number and a profit to them. Everytime you call in you speak to no less than three different people. They mischedule appointments, have an absolute disconnect from the patients. I am absolutely furious! I called and spoke with 2 different people to make an appointment. The first question I asked is "do you take my insurance." They both said yes. Made my appointment and arrived only to be told they don't take my insurance. I dove 30 minutes to get there not feeling well with my 2 year old. All the receptionist could say is "well I didn't make the appointment, our call center gets things wrong sometimes. We can still take you but you have to pay for it."
