I have been impressed with absolutely everyone I have encountered. Friendly, professional, and positive. I was speaking to a friend yesterday and he asked me how my radiation treatments were going. Without thinking I said they had been fun. Fun, really? But yes, the staff managed to make the whole experience enjoyable. I thank them all for their impeccable care.
My prostate cancer from 8 years ago started growing back. My health insurance broke ties with our local hospital so I had to choose an outreach facility. My name is Dan Wheeler. Three years ago I was diagnosed with a cancer that required an aggressive radiation treatment. I was told that Portland was where I should go for treatment. However, I had heard great things about the HR Hoover Cancer center from my mother-in-law because of her treatment there.
