He put me on the right track with my diabetes. Numbers have leveled off with the right diet and medications.
Dr. Wu basically says "High blood sugar ok, doesn't kill for long time. Low blood sugar dangerous, can kill. Don't let your blood sugar get low." That's the advice no matter what the reason I go to see him including when I told him Lantus and fast acting insulin (Novolog) aren't working for me and my blood sugar levels spiked and stayed there. He did nothing new when I saw him in Dec. '17 when I wanted to discuss my poor results with fast acting insulin, then when I tried again 3 months later to get him to put me on Humalog ... read more
Caring & helpful doctor
I tried to get set up as a new patient today and I have to agree with the previous posters - poor customer service. I ended up being sent to an answering service that was rude - and I was on my best and most polite behavior too. : ) Not what I am looking for in a doctor.
I haven't been to Dr. Wu for some time and when I tried to schedule an appointment, it took his Office Manager (Wife) a week to finally tell me they did not want to see me anymore. No explanation, no discussion. I discovered I had a $5 charge on my account and that may have been the reason. REALLY! $5. Rude does not begin to cover their behavior.
