Someone came out to inspect a/c charged GLCAP $360 on 8/29/2025. I was not informed the unit is not repairable. Therefore I need a new unit. Called GLCAP and was told I don’t exist! Great way to pass the buck. I have Lupus and am suffering. It is 90° in my house. Was told the summer program won’t begin until July! What the heck????
After 3 years of calling and filling out applications and being told “looks like it’s been lost” I am still without a furnace and using electric heaters well now that I need help with my 1000$ electric bill I get asked “why is it so high?” Well because I’m still waiting for your help with a furnace. Did everything they asked was told I’d get a call no later then Tuesday… this was two weeks ago now…. Still no call and I’ve called them and left information for a call back. Jesse left me with a positive feeling overall about GLCAP. She was courteous, professional, timely, & explained everything seamlessly. Even gave me a weather report and asked how the rest of my day was going.I know that's pretty routine , but you could tell she was sincere & attentive. Would have no problem at all reaching back out to g l c a p in the future if needed based on this experience.
Don't trust them, the people came and installed a furnace in my house and did everything wrong. They did the relief valve wrong and it blew the pipe and almost gave my mom a heart attack. They want to go out of their way to try not to fix. In legal process now
STAY AWAY, especially if you are a veteran! They will discriminate against you and will not provide you the same services they give civilians. Are you a disabled veteran, well if that's the case, they will DEFINITELY refuse to provide you services. Just STAY AWAY and save yourself the work gathering the documentation they want, the headache, the complete waste of time, and the anxiety. They are just there to collect an easy paycheck; not help people like they claim.
