I highly recommend Wrightsville Beach Kayak Company. I wanted a fun experience with my son who LOVES shark teeth and we did the shark tooth island tour and was so impressed from booking to our tour guide, Madison. They were so knowledgeable and provided everything. My son randomly decided he wanted to find 22 shark teeth and we found 45. This was such a stress free experience and we will be back. Thank you.
Staff is great and makes sure that you have an amazing adventure. Definitely recommend checking them out if you’re looking to have an awesome time on the water while in the area!
My girlfriend and I rented a tandem kayak from Wrightsville Beach Kayak Company to go out to Shark Tooth Island, and it was an awesome experience. Tracy was super helpful with scheduling, and Kala was a fantastic guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and fun to paddle with. They were really flexible with our start time when the weather shifted, which we appreciated. We ended up finding a bunch of shark teeth, and Kala even shared some with us. Tracy is experienced, offers helpful service to optimize your trip goals, and kind advice. I visited Shark tooth island to study and collect the abundance of invertebrate fossils that are present, and I was not disappointed. I can't wait to visit again!
