We have rented with WKC three times, and we've had an incredible experience each time! Our first rental was in 2022; we rented 2 tandem kayaks for my husband and I to take our 3 kids on the Shark Tooth Island excursion. That morning--out on the water in the early foggy morning, then finding shark teeth and other fossils in the sand--was one of the most sacred experiences of my life. We had a lovely time going to Shark Tooth Island and Keg Island. We took a tandem kayak at low tide and conditions were great. Seth & Anna were our guides. Both were kind, helpful, and easy to talk to. We booked with Tracy and she communicated clearly and in a timely fashion. We have experience looking for shark teeth so it was pretty easy for us to jump right in. I can imagine if you’re not used to looking for them, it could be feel a bit tricky at first. We had a terrific experience with WKC today! We had 4 adults and 4 kids (7,6,5,5) with 4 tandem kayaks. Link up, equipment, and assistance were top notch. Our two guides, Maddie and Seth, were not only very knowledgeable about the islands, wildlife, kayaking, and fossils, but did an excellent job of making the information interesting for both age groups.
