Beware of C.A.R.E. I recently had an horrible experience at CARE. CARE is one of the best equiped hospitals in Santa Barbara with the resources of a basic ER. My 5 year old Cat was recently diagnosed with a fungal infection that had become systematic. after being treated she was released home. she becoame symptomatic 5 days later so we brought her back in. she was supposed to be admitted to internal medicine the next morning which was stumbled along because of billing issues. i guess the fact that 5 days prior i had settled ... read more

CARE Hospital is the best! No one said my cat could be saved - until Dr. Pervis evaluated him. He's now happy and healthy after many misdiagnoses. Thank you, thank you, thank you Dr. P!!!! I feel like I owe everything to them. I also couldn't get over the hospital itself ... as an RN at Cottage I am used to high tech and Cottage doesn't have anything on CARE.
