The mechanic was able to salvage a left hand passenger automatic side mirror from a previous model Toyota Camry. He was also able to salvage a a gear box / drink holder cover as mine was severly cracked and sun damaged. Great service from everyone. Why buy an expensive first hand part or try to locate the part online, when you can visit a smash repairs and have the problem solved?
Unless just drove 1 half to pick up a part after telling them where I was travelling from an saying the year of the car to get there an the car was wrong car and part wasn't going to fit so wasted fuel an 3 hours.
Had my car in there for a week or so. Windows left open, dust throughout. Constantly chasing for updates. Failed to diagnose problem. Problem was transmission cable was broken, diagnosed by a wrecker.
