After 10 days in hospital I have to say the care and medical support in the Maelor has been exemplary. Okay I may have spent 58 hours on the corridor in A&E (waiting for an available bed) but still so grateful for the NHS and fantastic doctors and nurses on Mason Ward who went above and beyond to care for me and start me on my road to recovery. Thank you to each and every one of you 👏 👏
Can’t thank the whole staff team across a number of departments for taking excellent care of two family members in separate circumstances in the last couple of months. So caring and compassionate….
Department 13 outpatients: Nobody answers the phone, I've been ringing every day for a week. My only option now is to drive there , ridiculous situation.
I came here as a GP referral and I was still here 13 hours. All I can say is the staff managed it well. Kept everyone safe, done welfare checks every 2 hours and one special member of staff named hazel staff nurse in ED was absolutely fantastic, she was so attentive, compassionate and she is an example of what a nurse is all about. I do hope things get better for the NHS but as it stands it's not the staff that should tolerate the negative impact as they do all they can understand so much pressure.
