I thought it was an average haircut for an above average price. First, the appointment started 15 minutes late, which isn’t a big deal as I understand that things can happen. However, it felt that throughout my appointment that the barber was rushed to “make up” the time that was lost on the previous appointment, which we ultimately did as my haircut was finished in <30 minutes. Really cool and inviting space. I have longer hair and Taylor does an amazing job cutting and styling every time. Definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a high quality haircut.
Carl's an excellent barber — easily among the best in Chicago — and a super nice guy. He has been cutting my hair for nearly 10 years and has the talent and experience to do everything from shorter clipper cuts to longer styles with all shears. I highly recommend Carl and the Wrath &. Co team overall.
Went in thinking I gave simple directions for what I wanted, but ended up with a lot of questions from the stylist which I understand, they wanted to do a good job but this was more questions than I have ever been asked (by a lot) prior to a haircut. I kept being told I was 'wearing a mullet' and we never really got on the same page. When I left, it looked like only the back was cut while most of the rest stayed the same.
