You would think with all of the negative comments about their third-party billing they would check in to it! Had a medicare claim in October that was denied b/c of a coding error. Have called at least three times and have not heard anything back yet. Can never get ahold of Patricia and no return calls...very disappointed.
I paid my bill online and then started getting billed for $39 a month for some form of “account protection” I didn’t sign up for.
Mobile payment system is kinda scammy. If you don’t watch closely how you click after the payment it will sign you up for a paid for online security subscription. I bet a lot of people have accidentally done this in the past and didn’t even know it. Pretty messed up to be preying on people with medical issues. I’m guessing it’s not WPM themselves but they should be vetting the services they have their patients use much more closely
Sent me a bill for the full amount and said that insurance wasn't paying for it. I called insurance company and they said they never received the bill, so I called WPM and asked them to resend it. A few months later I got a letter from a collection agency, so I called insurance again. They said they still hadn't received anything. When I explained the situation to the collection agency, they explored further. WPM sent the bill to the wrong insurance company TWICE.
