This is the absolute worst company you could ever use for internet. If you call for customer service, you get someone who barely speaks English and laughs at your expense. Do not ever use wow!
Worst ISP I have ever had to depa with. As a service member living on post, WOW has a monopoly on the service provided so everyone must use them. This service is ABYSMAL. I pay for 1 gig speeds and only get 30% of that. My equipment isn't the problem. I deal with constant disconnects and when I call I always get the same response; "please restart your modem and router" and it never is the answer and most of the time causes my internet to be down longer. I was promised internet service for $75/month using my own modem and router, which I made clear from the beginning. Despite that, WOW! sent me their equipment anyway and started charging me for it. On top of that, they added a $5 “Service Protection Plan” I never agreed to or was even told about — and then charged me an additional $10 self-activation fee even though I installed everything myself. 0 Stars! This is absolutely the worst internet service provider I've ever had in my lifetime and I've only had them for 2 months. Constantly getting disconnected from internet, router keeps restarting, constant outages in the area, customer service is terrible and just tells you to restart it. I pay more for stronger connection and it's not even worth it because of the constant disconnect and interruptions.
