I had been seeing a podiatrist for over 6 month for open sores on both my big toes, the right worse then the left. This podiatrist (in Big Rapids MI) saw me on average every 2 weeks for these sores. He would scrape away dead skin and debris from around the sores with a scalpel until they bleed. This went on, as I said, every 2 weeks for over 6 months.
