The rooms are neat. The view of Mt Mee is very captivating
Absolutely stunning, views from every room. The deck between the bedrooms and kitchen/lounge has an elevated bench with stools which is perfect for relaxing with a view. If you are an advanced hiker there are plenty of trails for you. About 10 minutes to Daybora for supplies. No microwave.
DO NOT CAMP AT WORLDSAWAY RETREAT IF IT HAS RAINED IN THE PAST 7 DAYS!!! I post this review with mixed emotions - as beautiful as the venue and surrounds are, our group camping trip was seriously hampered by the wet muddy conditions that are localised to the 3 camp sites. The design and drainage of the campsites is such that they are slightly bowl-shaped and pool water and mud that does not dry up, even 2 days after rainfall has ceased. What an amazing location, so close to Brisbane! Only took an hour to drive there. We stayed at the Stars campsite (middle of the three) and it was private, peaceful and had gorgeous views at sunset and sunrise. Very well maintained - the amenities are super clean (each site gets their own bathroom), and best of all it was 2WD accessible (tar road all the way to the campsite). This is the only campsite that I have stayed at where you get your own, dedicated bathroom per site. Superb!
