I love that Polly is so focused on listening to me and meets me where I am. She focuses on the root cause and uses nutrition, medicines and helped improve my motivation. Not focused on weight but health. I was able to reverse my diabetes and improve my health but it took a lot of hard work and is something I will need to always be working on.

Polly is kind but does not prescribe any kind of effective long term strategies for weight loss. She diagnosed me with a condition just by looking at the shape of my body, and suggested more and more extreme intermittent fasting periods as I continued to see her, all the while assuring me I would be able to go back to eating normally when I lost the weight I needed to (not scientifically supported). She also monitored my insulin (I am not diabetic) and suggested metformin (again, not diabetic). She essentially prescribed an almost crash diet that I’ve rebounded from, causing more harm than if I had just stayed this size to begin with.

Dr. Walsh is amazing. He has a way of lovingly helping his patient (me) do exactly what is on our care plan. I may not always follow through with it, but all I have to do is ask and he is on it! He puts a great deal of research into my plan and I trust him implicitly. He has been my ND for over 3 years and I recommend him highly!
