Hard to describe the feeling you have when you see the sheer scale of the two great, black pits before you, that were once the footprint of the WTC towers.
Absolutely beautiful.
A pair of structural tridents from the base of the original 1 WTC tower are visible through the museum's glass atrium, by the north pool. The pools -- epic in scale and graceful especially after dusk.
