I absolutely love World Market! I come here for home decor and gifts. However, I wanted to share my recent experience. For anyone that’s been here, you know there’s two flights of steep steps into the store. On December 28th, I was leaving the store and slipped down the steps (there was heavy rain this day so steps were slippery). I went to urgent care and multiple sprains later, I’m in a boot. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Please I do not recommend going here! Workers are extremely rude and miserable, and customer service is less helpful. I’m sure the workers here are on a power trip, because the last time I was here, the worker gave me a lecture on how to walk up to the checkout and get in line although there was nobody in line and i would have to walk around the whole store to go through checkout. Terrible experience. Called ahead to see if they have a product, said they have 7 in stock. Come to the store, and the lady (not the manager I assume) had an awful attitude when asking for my name. Didn’t have the product despite telling me they have 7 in stock. Then when I asked for the product, they said you have to wait for their email to confirm that it’s been processed. That part is on me, though it’s not clear when ordering it if there’s an additional wait time. It’s clear on the email to be fair. The manager then says... read more
