I had a disappointing experience at World Market that highlights outdated systems and poor customer service. I attempted to return an item in its original condition after misplacing the receipt. The store was able to look up the exact product and confirm the exact price I paid, yet still insisted on issuing store credit for less than 20% of the purchase price. Today we experience the most racist and passive aggressive retail experience ever! We asked to try on garments, and a sales associate told us we’re have to go home and try it on, and thereafter, bring it back if it didn’t fit. We asked a manager, and she allowed us to use their restrooms to try on clothes.
