Since moving to Chicago in May, this is my "go to" store to find out-of-the-ordinary decorative pieces for my apartment. Some stores, that will remain nameless, offer some furniture that's interesting. But if you miss shopping at the old Pier One, this place is the next best thing. Some things are a little pricey, but, in my opinion, you're paying for imported authenticity while still able to find deals at a reasonable price point. Walking in, the store immediately feels like a mix of global treasure hunt and home‑goods playground. Every section has something different to pull you in — imported furnishings, decor pieces, dishes, greeting cards, and shelves of food items from all over the world.
