This gym used to have an amazing group fitness community. Many classes were removed with less than one week's notice, with many members only finding out through word of mouth and NO formal communication from the gym. It's hard to accept that members must provide 30 days' notice to cancel, while the gym can significantly reduce the services it offers with virtually no notice. Great gym but they really need to crank the aircon, I get that it's winter but it's always too warm. Lots of good equipment. Can get exceptionally busy at peak times but it's good that it's a big gym so it's not too crowded.
World Gym has excellent equipment and is a well-maintained facility. The gym itself is great, which is why this review isn't lower. However, I primarily joined for the group fitness classes, especially the yoga sessions. I had been attending the popular yoga classes multiple times a week, so it was very disappointing to arrive last week and be told that all yoga classes had been cancelled indefinitely. Excellent Gym, with modern equipment, a great atmosphere, and friendly, welcoming staff. It's a fantastic place , and I've enjoyed my experience overall Unfortunately, the shower and toilet facilities are in very poor condition now, have a strong unpleasant smell, stains ,and were not usable during my recent visits. I've never seen in such a condition before.
