This is a great, huge local gym. They have every piece of equipment that you would need to fulfill your fitness requirements. Everything is kept clean and functional. Rarely is any of the equipment out of service for long. With regards to the other reviewer on here giving a ONE star rating because he/she didn't read a contract before signing it, well that's no reason to rate a business so low because you're not intelligent enough to read. I, like many here, created this review solely to warn others about this shady corporation. It's unfortunate because I know World Gym Texas City will never take any of these reviews into consideration and adjust their practices. However, if my review will help even one person, it's worth it. Please, learn from all of our mistakes. Apparently "I signed" a 12 month contract I WAS NOT AWARE OF. Matt Weston, trainer and fitness manager never mentioned to me it was a contract. He simply put it out as a month to month training sess... read more

The personal trainers were very knowledgable and helpful and the juicebar was better than most others I have seen.

I have been to every gym in Jacksonville and I can say hands-down World Gym is the best. Their personal trainers are amazing and their staff is super friendly. If you want a great gym great atmosphere for a great price this is the place for you.
