All you hear is horror stories from injured workers like myself, all doctors have the same comment about wsib being a evil necessity but they don't actually help or give injured workers much of anything. they over pay the employees, Why the president make 440k last year at public company? Why did over 300 case managers make over 100k when it's the inured worker that is stuck managing cases? Injured Workers have Zero recourses at WSIB WSIB is the insurer of the WORKPLACE. They work for your employer. They will NEVER EVER FIND EMPLOYER WRONG DOING. If you are hurt at work you will never ever find support WSIB.
Very difficult to deal with. No human compassion. You are treated like another folder on a desk. Not only that denials are often part of a bureaucratic process designed to make people give up. Never give up!.
18 years old injured at work thought I was supposed to be able to trust the system. WSIB wants me to go against doctors orders to go back to work illegally. They won’t be paying me for my last two weeks. Stay far away from WSIB
