My son and I chose Work & Class for dinner before seeing The Outsiders, based on the menu and reviews, and it did not disappoint! Every dish was absolutely delicious—from the chicken pot pies and mushroom mashed potatoes to the short ribs and coconut shrimp ceviche. We stopped in here years ago and really liked it so we figured we’d give it another go. The mashed potatoes were ok. Mac and cheese was divine! I really liked the whiskey/bourbon selection. We thought the Lamb was extremely overcooked and dry. It was medium-well, mostly well done. We like it medium-rare. Seasoned well. It desperately could’ve used some kind of sauce. We will be back for the drinks and Mac n cheese! Prefer not to pay nearly $40 for 1/2 lb of overcooked meat.
Food was good but needs improvement. The team was helpful, and the highlight was the Massive Attack Salad with its surprising mix of chopped and fried veggies. The Colorado lamb was average—some pieces tender, some overcooked, and it lacked sides.
Came here on a whim during a bachelor weekend. Easily got us in with 7 people, food was AMAZING.
