This is definitely a wannabe southern restaurant in Denver, the Birria was some of the worst I’ve ever had. The price per portions is ridiculous. No N/A drink options hardly and none on the happy hour. The space is tiny. The service was really great, and the picanha was cooked perfectly but not worth the price still. I also enjoyed the rolls and the mac and cheese. Definitely wouldn’t go back but glad I tried it once.
The food was absolutely amazing! From the Blue Corn Empanadas, to the stellar Mac n Cheese, to the Maple Bacon Brussels. I would HIGHLY recommend the Lemon Pepper Chicken and the Trout, we found the Picanha to be mostly uneventful. Also the signature cocktails were all amazing! The only things that would make me think twice about coming back were how loud it was in the restaurant, you basically have to be yelling at the person you’re with, even if you are across the table from them. We loved the ambience and the service was great. I ordered the braised short ribs and goat cheese mashed potatoes. My wife ordered the waygu flat iron. The waygu plate looked to be completely covered in blood. We realized there was a glaze that came with the steak, but the presentation was horrible.
